It's my birthday and I can wear a pewter cheetah print pencil skirt, black tank and grey kitten heels. And on my hot pink and gold manicured hand a PLATINUM HOBO pinky ring! It's polymer clay and recycled plastic!

A simple tote with a hand painted design. This tote has a fuschia cotton body and black cotton handle. Mr Owl here was inspired by owls that have been hanging on a wall in my grandparents' house my whole life. PLATINUM HOBO- Frivolity is necessity!

The Platinum Hobo is making a bunch of these little half circle coin purses. They are handsewn and each one is different. This is one that has a clear body with black flap and stitching. You can use this for loose money or for your credit cards too. They are pretty big. Also I am doing these happy little wooden smiley flower keychains. Been busy... creating little decorative buttons and brooches. Out of bits and odds and ends.  This is a liittle ruffle brooch I made, that you can wear on your top, coat, bag or wherever to accent your outfit and make it more unique. Well The Graffiti Crazy Happy Bunny bag was put in the shop today.  Right now I'm working on a clear tote bag and some odds and ends. I'll have it up soon as I'm done. Now here is one of my keychains I didn't make it today. This or last month. It is so cute I might keep this too. This is Happy Bear. The back has a crazy, colorful pumpkin like design with a star! A great way to personalize your keys!

The weather is so great. The air is so fresh!  Here are some mirrors I made that I think REFLECT the spirit of Springtime! This compact was made for a friend it has her intials in the vine detailing! I especially like this mirror and I hope she enjoys it! This is the White Rabbit mirror.  Whether you think Easter or Alice in Wonderland when you see this, you can tell he is pleased with himself. And sure to brighten up your day. You might wonder why I'm making this stuff. Thing is I'm always making something. Painting, scrapbooking, etc.  I can't spot myself. In school I drew all over my bookcovers and notebooks. I loved to play basketball and I drew all over my ball with a Sharpie and coated it with clear nail polish. In the Army I drew with pastels (I love oil pastels) and charcoal and used acrylics and found my love of oil paint. I have sold some paintings at Absolute Abstract in Philadelphia. That was awesome and scary. My life was crazy for awhile so I had to take time off of my gallery ambitions but... finally last summer I said I have to just go for it. So now, when I can and am feeling up to it. I will create these fun, one of a kind pieces to share with...

Here are some earrings I made in which there is more than one pair! I also have these lovely handwoven necklaces that match. They are made from a stretchy cotton knit fabric. PLATINUM HOBO- Frivolity is necessity!

This is a cute zippered tote accented by the lace trim. It's lined with black nylon.   This is a simple purple tote with magnetic closure. The straps are wool felt. PLATINUM HOBO- Frivolity is necessity!

These are an example of some cute little charms I made. How? I don't quite know but they are here to stay! This has blue and green feathers with a few sprigs of yellow feather. Sterling silver plated loop wrapped in a linen cord. And this is what it looks like on.   There is also this fluffy pink and purple one. PLATINUM HOBO- Frivolity is necessity!

I don't know what happened but a few years ago fuchsia joined my favorite colors group. Not baby pink but bold border neon pinks and magentas . And so when I saw this fabric I was like, oh yeah. We have two bags here without their straps. These are front and back views. Also there is a handpainted suede keychain which is also double-sided.  The square bag features a handpainted gold and turquoise flower motif with pale yellow crystal detailing on the opening side and flap.  The more rectangular bag has black, gold and turquoise handpainted designs and light pink crystal detailing on the back side.The straps go into the holes of the suede on the side of the bags. This bag is called Plenty of Fish .   It features handpainted blue turquoise fish and coral on one side. Also there is a long thick leather strap with gold grommets. The edges were kept raw because that's when I felt the bag was done. PLATINUM HOBO- Frivolity is necessity!

  Here we have one of my first totes. It's bright yellow cotton denim, with pink cotton straps that have pink yellow and orange w ooden bead detailing. This is a navy tote with white nylon straps. The front has a fuchsia pocket. This is a fun lightweight tote bag with red flower embroidery. (No I did not embroider it, that's just how the fabric was.) It has red cotton straps and red denim details.   And here is it's sister. The difference is the red sequin at the end of each strap instead.   PLATINUM HOBO- Frivolity is necessity!
